Why do some users not have countries on their profiles when it is a mandatory field?

Users that were imported from previous versions of ridecount do not have countries on their profiles as we did not previously used to ask for this information.

Currently it is optional for these users to update their profile and add their home country, however we may ask for this to be completed for anyone who has it missing in the future so that we can build our community statistics and reporting for all users to enjoy, such as country based leaderboards.

Your home country is only used to provide statistical data to you, and not for any other purposes.
